Yes, that is left-over snow crust at the edge of the creek.

Even so, our temps have been up in the high 70s.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To my recollection this is the first year we have had green popping out this early.  Usually this doesn’t happen until early June…

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nothing better than a good dip after a long warm trail walk.  The trails are still muddy in places, so the clear creek water provides a nice rinse before we get back into the van.
