…brings out a bunch of bike riders, dog walkers, not to mention young and old joggers. But it is likely we will only have to share for just a moment, as the National Weather Service forecasts a high wind warning for tomorrow evening on through to Saturday morning. So then once again, the trails will be all ours!!!
Our usual trek is perhaps 3 miles long. We can approach the trail system from any number of angles, which always keeps it interesting and seemingly new. And one must keep their eyes open to dodge a myriad of unexpected adventures…
A born New Englander, I will never quite get used to the fact Alaskan mountains stand on the east. …These giants are quickly turning brown. Soon the mountains will be topped with what Alaskan’s call “termination dust” which marks the inevitable end of the warmer seasons.
