The Kerries delighted in the freshly fallen snow, dashing to and fro with noses snooting down to the roots of the brush that poked out through it.
First real snowfall in Anchorage landed in 33 degrees, so it was a wet snow with fast melt. The forecast is for still higher temps throughout the rest of the week, so what snow is left will be short lived.
Our latest Alaskan Spring came the earliest and was longer than any I recall. This past Alaskan Summer was noticeably warmer than most. And our Alaskan Fall of late was nothing short of enchanting. So too, I am ready for a true Alaskan Winter.
…And hoping the snow will pile up to our rooftops!
